Since 1980 she has been exposing in many national and
international collective exhibitions, winning several awards: she won the First
Prize at the International Competition “I See the World” by the Russian Arts
Academy of Moscow in occasion of The Year of Peace.
In 1987 she had her first solo exhibition in the
“Fenix” Art Gallery in Paraná with 350 works: paintings,
literature, graphical interpretations of poetries and tales by important
Argentinean writers such as Alfonsina Storni, Aaron Cupit, Horacio Quiroga.
From 1986 to 1988 she collaborated with the “El Diario” newspaper of Paraná,
publishing several illustrated tales which where consecutively edited into
anthologies used by children at school in the Entre Rios province.
In 1990 she started to give concerts in Argentina
and abroad, and undertook a research study based on the translation of sonorous
vibrations and musical structures into paintings.
From 1999 to 2000 she collaborated with “D’Ars Agency”
in Italy, exhibiting at the
“Banca Popolare di Milano” (Bergamo and Bologna centres), the “Grand’ Hotel Trento” in Trento and
the “Galleria 9 Colonne” in Bologna.
In 2000
a personal exhibition named “La Pintura y la Musica” was dedicated to
her at the “Museo Provincial de Arte” in Entre Rios (Argentina), sponsored by
the Asociacion Amigos del Museo de
Artesanias, Ministerio de Gobierno Justicia y Educacion, Subsecretaria de
Cultura.
In 2001,
Carina V. Aprile carried out her multimedia project “La Casa Tomada”,
obtaining the patronage of Regione Lombardia, Provincia di Milano, Consulado
General de la R.
Argentina, Casa Hispano Americana. The “Casa Tomada” work is conceived as a place where it is possible to
interact in its entireness involving both emotional and sensorial spheres; the
painting is not anymore perceived as a bidimensional window, whether real or
imaginary, but instead experienced from its inner part in its tridimensionality.
Since 2003 her “Oriente ed Occidente” fresco belongs
to the patrimony of the Casale Monferrato Municipality
(Italy).
The work was realized under the porch of the “Mercato Pavia” during the
Manifestation “Quando è Arte” organized
by the Associazione Culturale Artificio.
In 2005 she was invited to create the Poster of the
31st “Corso Fiorito”, which is the most important Manifestation held at the
“Lago Maggiore”, organized by Comitato Corso Fiorito and Comune di Verbania, with the sponsorship
of the Regione Piemonte and Provincia del V.C.O.
Since 2005 her works are permanently exposed in Italy at Carina Aprile’s Gallery in the City of Vigevano.
